Shakespeare’s Garden
As Featured in The Knot
The lush and romantic setting of Shakespeare’s Garden in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park set the tone for Steve and Claire’s wedding, held in August of 2008. A mingling of two cultures: American born Steve and Claire of Chinese decent, the wedding day allowed everyone to bear witness to the importance of both cultures in their lives, as well as the seamless union that their marriage represents.
From the porcini cappuccino soup station, fresh spring rolls, exotic lobster salad and bay scallop-mango Ceviche shooters to the strawberry shortcake bar, the food was as diverse as the guests. The gentle music and laughter filled the air and wrapped the couple in love and laughter that they will remember for a lifetime.
The beauty and joy is best expressed in the words of Claire’s father, who flew in from China for the wedding and speaks very little English: “Magic, today, you make everything magic. Thank you.”
