For more than 45 years, an irrepressible creative spirit has thrived within the walls of Dogpatch Studios. This movie/photography studio has witnessed film shoots, photographers, and models at work and many special events.

Situated in the "Dogpatch" area of San Francisco, the renovated three-story building is truly a unique structure. The spare exterior hardly hints at the expansive areas inside, but once in the door, you enter a cavernous space known as the Main Stage. Because of the raw space capabilities, your creativity can truly run wild. Cover the walls with drape, artwork and so much more. Stand up receptions, seated dinners, cocktail soirees – basically, whatever you can imagine, can happen here. 

The second floor is the Gallery/party space with polished bamboo floors and windows that overlook Tennessee Street. Typically used as the cocktail space or lounge area, it can be transposed into a fun, casual yet very hip space.  

The Penthouse Studio is the crowned jewel of Dogpatch Studios and it indeed showcases the space on the third floor. A wall of windows opens out onto a deck with a 280-degree view from Alameda Island to Twin Peaks, including the Bay Bridge and the Bay, SBC Park and the downtown skyline. Inside, bamboo flooring, white walls, and an 18-foot atrium ceiling – combined with the stellar city views – make a lovely backdrop for a small group.
