Originally built in the late 18th Century, The Presidio Officers’ Club is the largest surviving Spanish colonial military building in California and most recently remolded in 1934. The Officer’s Club offers a generous space for a large wedding or corporate soirée.
The exterior embodies the Mission style with white adobe walls, a terracotta tiled roof, and heavy wooden doorways and windows. True to its military background there are two bronze cannons at the entrance. This warm and inviting venue has the Moraga ballroom, lounge and three anterooms available. The Spanish Colonial style ballroom has rustic chandeliers, gleaming hardwood floors, solid wood ceiling beams and an impressive gas fireplace flanked by rustic sconces. Just left the fireplace is the Garden Room, a small space with beautiful stained glass perfect for a stage or gift area.
Other spaces available include the Arguello Room, just off the ballroom, this space offers a more intimate feel with carpeted floors and lower ceilings; this space can be used in conjunction with the ballroom or closed off. On the other side of the Ballroom is the De Anza Room, it has a tavern like feel with dark wainscoting, a small fireplace and low ceilings. Located near the front of the building the Mesa Lounge is a cozy space with parlor furniture, a fireplace and wood-beam ceilings, make it an ideal spot for greeting guest or VIP receptions.
The historic Club has been a premiere event location for more than a century, with its beautiful park location, elegant mission style architecture and multiple event spaces and ample parking.
