San Francisco’s City Hall is an elegantly restored historic landmark. It is a fabulous showcase with rich history and rooms like no other venue in San Francisco. The beauty lies in the amazing detail of the architecture and the craftsmanship. City Hall is the crown jewel of San Francisco.
Rotunda
Seated (including second floor): (652). Reception: (1,300). The main floor is approximately 75’ x 75’. Room surfaces consist of marble floors, stone and glass walls and plaster dome. The landing on the Grand Staircase is 4’0” above the Main Floor level and is 4’6” deep and 20’0” wide.
North Light Court
Seated: (435). Reception: (870). Approximately 122’6” x 57’5” clear floor area with 19’ to 22’ ceilings. Free standing historic counters run along the north walls of the space. Room surfaces consist of marble floors, area rugs, stone and glass walls and a glass skylight ceiling with wood and plaster cornices.
South Light Court
(420). Reception: (840). Approximately 122’6” x 57’05” gross floor area with 19’ to 22’ ceilings. Room surfaces consist of marble floors, wall to wall carpet, stone and glass walls and a glass skylight ceiling with wood and plaster cornices.
